St. Vrain State Park

At roughly 4,848 feet, the season runs longer here than at the high country camps, and spring or fall trips stay comfortable long after the mountain loops close for the year.

Hookup-wise, Colorado state parks are the best-equipped public camping in the region, and many loops here offer electric or full hookups. Those sites disappear first when the booking window opens, so grab them the same morning if your rig or your crew depends on power. Water and dump stations round out the infrastructure.
